# Governance

How do I take part in Kulfi finance governance?

You can take part in Kulfi finance Governance By simply holding KLS. Voting power are derived from the KLS holdings. The reason behind this is that those holding more KLS tokens are more invested in the project. Therefore, they have a more significant incentive to succeed and prosper.

Voting

Voting requires holding of KLS, which can simply be stored in nami wallet or staked in the governance pool. There is no need to remove the stake to vote. Voting power is based directly on the amount of KLS each voter holds.

Creating a proposal

Proposals can't be created by anyone.

To be able to create a proposal you must have a Kulfi NFT and also a certain minimum amount of KLS Tokens to be staked in the governance pool. Each proposal created comprises a question posed to the community, along with the option of choices to vote for.

Maturities

The maturities are based on a set interval depending on the key governance parameters.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kulfi.gitbook.io/kulfi-finance-3/governance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
