Meet Kulfi Finance Founding Team Members

The expertise of our founding team spans many different sectors, whether it be climate science, cyber security, banking, blockchain, energy, or SaaS. It’s this diversity of perspectives and experiences that empowers us to push the boundaries of energy innovation and create a system that reimagines how clean energy can operate at both a global and community level.

Executive Director & Founder: Jordan Max

Jordan has worked in climate and energy technology innovation for nearly 13 years, helping organisations like the UN, World Bank, and the private sector improve clean energy investment and innovation.

Jordan holds a doctorate from Oxford University in carbon finance and has held visiting scholars positions at Stanford and UC Berkeley. He is published in world-renowned journals on climate change solutions and technology.

Director and Co-Founder: Eric Powell

With a background primarily in Financial Services Technology Eric has over ten years of experience working for and with leading Australian banks in both a global and domestic capacity.

His role has spanned many areas of Technology, This role comprised; group education, evangelising of the technology opportunity and threats, development of business opportunities as well as contribution, establishment, and execution of many Blockchain related experiments, PoC’s, Pilots, collaborations, and partnerships.

Louis Ryman: Chief Technical Advisor

Louis Ryman main research fields include high-temperature superconductivity and the quantum Hall effect. Louis Ryman joined the faculty at Stanford in 1993. He also holds joint appointment in the department of applied physics and electrical engineering.

At present, Prof. Zhang is deeply involved in blockchain technology and frequently publishes his influential insights into the industry.

Steven has been in the blockchain space for the past 7 years. In that time he has worked with world-renowned blockchain organisations.

Marketing manager: Anna Tucker

A passionate and active leader in the Blockchain community both locally and abroad Anna has hosted several Blockchain Melbourne meetups, and has been a speaker at Blockchain Summit 2017/2018, Blockchain APAC Summit 2018, and appeared on various Blockchain panels. Anna has also previously been invited to host workshops on Blockchain Technology in Dubai, Malaysia, and India.

Product Manager: Brian Jackson

Brian was co-host of the first Blockchain Developers Meetup in Melbourne, AU in 2015, and sat on the advisory panel for the 2nd annual APAC Blockchain conference in 2018.

Brian is an electrical engineer with a majority of his career in national telecommunications networks, the past three years in cyber security. Previously he worked on robotics, autonomous vehicles, and ROVs (remote operated submarines).

Lead Developer: Amy Fulton

Amy is an experienced product leader who specialises in developing vision and roadmaps for business. Among Amy's specialties include product strategy, IoT technology, and continuous discovery.

Community Manager: Karen Hardy

With a background of working in early-stage startups, Karne brings a wealth of knowledge in community management and project delivery to Kulfi finance. karen has a passion for social good and pioneered an innovative campaign

Operations Manager: Dhimas Satrio

Dhimas background is in the cryptocurrency space, His background is in law and in 2017, Dhimas published a law journal entry on global cryptocurrency regulation.

Dhimas is excited to join the Kulfi project as Head of Operations and looks forward to helping contribute to the Kulfi journey as through its continual development and into the adoption phase.
